These Terms govern your use of DearKind Walk, including dearkindpets.com, app.dearkindpets.com and the digital training program provided through those services. By purchasing or using DearKind Walk, you agree to these Terms.
1. The DearKind Walk service
DearKind Walk provides educational, reward-based dog-walking guidance, including Walk Profiles, guided lessons, training sessions, progress tools and Rescue Routes. The program is designed to help owners structure training; it does not promise that every dog will achieve a particular behavioural result within a fixed number of days.
2. Safety and professional care
You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise is appropriate and safe for your dog, environment and physical ability. Stop an exercise if you or your dog are at risk. DearKind Walk is not veterinary advice and is not a substitute for an individualized assessment by a veterinarian or qualified behaviour professional. Seek professional help for aggression, bite history, severe fear, panic, pain, sudden behaviour change or other safety concerns.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Paid accounts are intended for adults who can enter a binding purchase agreement. You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized account access.
4. Purchases and access
DearKind Walk is currently sold as a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription unless a checkout clearly states otherwise. Payments for the currently available offer are processed through Stripe. Depending on the transaction and jurisdiction, the applicable payment provider may handle payment collection, applicable taxes, receipts, fraud checks and refund processing under its own terms. Access is associated with the email used for purchase.
Current product access may include up to three dog profiles per account. If marketing describes access as “lifetime” or “forever,” that means access for the commercially supported lifetime of the DearKind Walk service, subject to these Terms, applicable law and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
5. Refunds
DearKind offers the refund terms described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under local law.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- share, resell or commercially redistribute your account or the program content;
- copy or republish substantial portions of lessons, illustrations, scripts or software;
- attempt to bypass access controls, payment checks or security measures;
- use the service to harm, harass or unlawfully monitor another person;
- interfere with the service, infrastructure or other users.
7. Intellectual property
DearKind branding, written lessons, illustrations, interface, software and original training materials are owned by or licensed to DearKind and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the program; it does not transfer ownership of the content.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, update, replace or discontinue individual features as the service evolves. We aim to keep paid core access available, but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, security incidents and other events may temporarily affect availability.
9. Disclaimer and liability
Dog behaviour is influenced by health, learning history, environment, genetics, handling and many other factors. DearKind does not guarantee a specific training outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DearKind is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the program. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension or termination
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct, abusive use or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will try to provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will apply prospectively where required by law. The date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
